Morris County Schools to host Regional College Fair

The Morris County Directors of Guidance, in conjunction with County College of Morris, the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling, and the Morris County Professional Counselors’ Association will host their annual College Fair at County College of Morris on Sunday, October 14, 2007 from 12:00 to 3:00 P.M.

The event will feature representatives from approximately 200 colleges nationwide. Public and private colleges from a broad spectrum of competitive levels will be present. Most New Jersey public and private colleges will be represented, as well as major state Universities such as Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina, Rhode Island, SUNY, Penn State, and Vermont. College-bound students and their parents are encouraged to talk with various college representatives to ask questions about entrance requirements, major programs of study, and general college life. Several high school guidance counselors will also be on hand to answer your questions about the college selection and admissions process.

A series of mini-workshops will be offered free of charge during the afternoon. Topics to be covered include Financial Aid, the College Admission Process, NCAA Athletic Eligibility, and College Selection for the Learning Disabled.

No pre-registration is necessary for this event and residents of Morris County and surrounding areas are invited to attend. Click here for a list of the colleges that will be represented. For directions to County College of Morris, visit www.ccm.edu
