The West Morris Regional High School District anchors its World Language Program in the goal that all students will be able to communicate in the target language for meaningful purposes. We offer a high-quality, culturally authentic, immersion-experience World Language Program. The district offers Chinese, French, and Spanish in levels I through V, as well as International Baccalaureate courses, at both West Morris Central
and West Morris Mendham high schools.
All World Language teachers in our program abide by the ACTFL Target Language Position Statement, and provide an immersed setting of 90% target language beginning in level I.  We design our curriculum around culturally authentic, developmentally appropriate, engaging and meaningful units of study. Teachers strive for the language and the culture to come alive during every lesson.
