West Morris Central HS and West Morris Mendham HS welcomed new educators to the district at New Staff Orientation this week.  The new cohort includes two Art teachers, two English teachers, two Science teachers, three History teachers, a Health/P.E. teacher, and a shared Technology teacher.  Also in new roles are WMC Coordinator of Athletics and Activities Mr. Matt Moscatello and Supervisor of Mathematics/Science Dr. Salvatore Lima.  Dr. Lima was previously a teacher of Biology at West Morris Mendham High School.

The orientation included an overview of the district’s highly acclaimed International Baccalaureate Program, tips for engaging successfully with students, training on district technology, and time with teacher mentors.  Central HS Principal Tim Rymer commented, “As we prepare for the opening of the 2023-24 school year on campus, it is exciting to welcome our new staff to West Morris Regional and, more specifically, to the Wolfpack Family.  This talented class of educators has already begun to assimilate to our school community and are eager to welcome students into their offices and classrooms next week.”

Mendham HS Principal Steve Ryan added “We are fortunate in the West Morris Regional HS District to attract highly qualified applicants and this cohort exceeds that mark. The collective commitment to students and excellence our new colleagues have already demonstrated leaves me excited to witness their forthcoming contributions to our learning community.”

It’s going to be a positive and successful year with these smart, new educators!
